Cleanse Tip, Part 4: Getting Sleep and Slowing Down

First of all, getting eight hours of sleep isn’t always easy. But during your cleanse, it’s extra-important to make it a priority. You’ll get a lot more out of the cleanse if your body’s well rested. Keep your schedule more relaxed and be open to getting more sleep than usual, and let your body do the work it needs to do to get you feeling your absolute best.

I also encourage you to slow things down. I know I’ve said in the past that exercising and moving your body is important to flush out toxins, and it is. What I’m referring to here is more mental; it’s taking the opportunity during a cleanse to slow down and focus on the present moment. There’s so much pressure these days to get things done. Whenever we’re rushing from Point A to Point B, it takes us out of the present moment.
